Portfolio 3

Below is an update on the companies in Portfolio 3 as of June 30, 2026, along with charts showing how the portfolio is diversified by sector and market capitalization.

Portfolio 3 remains broadly diversified, with exposure across nine of the eleven sectors. However, it continues to be shaped primarily by Technology, followed by Financials and Industrials. Alongside holdings across several other sectors, the portfolio also includes an S&P 500 index fund, which helps reduce volatility from individual positions. Even so, because many of the index’s largest constituents are technology-related, the overall portfolio remains firmly growth-oriented.

Despite trimming Nvidia and Shopify during the quarter, they still account for roughly 37% of the portfolio combined. That’s a meaningful reduction from over 50% at the end of Q1, but concentration risk remains.

There were a few notable changes during the second quarter. Nvidia was trimmed further, while Lithium Americas was fully exited as capital was reallocated toward higher-conviction opportunities. At the same time, I increased exposure to several AI-linked holdings, continuing to build on one of the dominant themes driving market performance.

Compared to last quarter, when volatility was slightly reduced, the portfolio shifted back toward a higher-risk, higher-growth profile, with increased exposure to AI-linked holdings supported by ongoing AI tailwinds and the expanding space industry. Roughly half of the holdings are now in large and mega-cap names, with the remainder in mid and small caps. The portfolio remains growth-tilted, balanced in part by slower-growing companies that continue to generate steady dividend growth.

Performance

Below is the list of the Portfolio 3 companies. Some you will recognize some you won't. Either way, I've included the company name, its trading symbol (also known as ticker), the currency used to purchase the shares, the gain or loss in share price since the shares were purchased (the average, in the case of multiple purchases), the total return (the gain or loss from the shares, plus any dividends) and the stock exchange it was purchased on. I have also shown what the company does, and why it was purchased (including how I categorize the company). In cases where a company's total return is greater than the gain or loss in share price, that is because the company pays a dividend.
